Una VoceJ apanの皆さん、こんにちは。今回日本に行くのは三回目ですが、司祭としては初めてです。高校の時から趣味として日本語を勉強しはじめ、その時からいつか日本で仕えるのを望んできました。日本にいるカトリック信者の生活や信仰についてもっと知りたいし、日本にいる間、伝統的なミサを捧げたり、皆さんと話し合ったりすることを楽しみにしています。今後ともよろしくお願いします。
略歴
マクマスター大学（カナダ）で物理学専攻。召命の呼びかけに従い神学校に入学。2021年11月6日にカナダ・トロントにて司祭叙階。トロントのオラトリオ会所属の司祭として奉職中。
なお、クリストファー神父はトロント大司教であるコリンズ枢機卿から伝統ミサを捧げる許可を受けており、聖座もこの許可を追認しています。

Greetings to everyone in Una Voce Japan. I’m very excited to be coming to Japan for a third time, though it is my first time as a priest. I have been studying Japanese as a hobby since high school, and it has been a long dream of mine to be able to serve in Japan in some capacity. I’m hoping to learn more about the life and faith of Catholics in Japan, and I will be happy to celebrate the Traditional Mass while there and meet all of you. I hope it may be the first of many such occasions.
Biography
After studying physics at McMaster University, Christopher knew he had a higher calling and joined the seminary on a journey to priesthood. On Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Holy Family Church in Toronto, Christopher Thiên Ý Huỳnh was ordained. His permanent home is the Toronto Oratory.
He has been granted permission to celebrate Traditional Latin Mass by His Eminence Thomas Cardinal Collins, Archbishop of Toronto, and this permission is confirmed by Holy See.
