Introduction of UVJ

Una Voce Japan (UVJ) is an association of the Catholic faithful, which was founded in 2010 and obtained the permission of the activities as a sodality form Archdiocese of Tokyo. UVJ has been a member of the Federatio Internationalis Una Voce (FIUV) since April 2011.

UVJ aims at safeguarding and promoting the extraordinary Mass of Roman rite according to Missale Romanum edited by Pope Juhn XXIII in 1962 (Tridentine Mass) and the use of latin, gregorian chant and sacred polyphony in the Roman Catholic Church. UVJ obeys fully the Magisterium of the Church and the local ordinaries.
